Unit 53 – 2026 Guided Hunting Prices

Welcome to our 2026 Unit 53 pricing guide. All elk and deer hunt packages include guide service, lodging, two meals, transportation during your hunt, and field care of your trophy. Price does not include your state hunting license, tax, meat processing, taxidermy or gratuities. New Mexico sales tax (8.57%) will be added to the cost of all hunts. Application deadline is March 20th, if unsuccessful in drawing a permit or for a hunt booked after the deadline, landowner permits are available. A non-refundable deposit of $500 will be required to be entered into the draw or $1000 to hold a guaranteed landowner tag. All deposits will go toward the price of your hunt in the year they are drawn. There will be a $500 fee for all wilderness hunts to transport clients gear and camps and an additional $500 fee for all animals packed out on horses. Prices subject to change. Shiloh Valley Outfitters operates under a permit from the Carson National Forest. 

Typical gratuity is 10-20% the cost of your hunt and tipped directly to your guide. Tipping rates should be reflective of the experience, and not the success of the hunt. Our guides will work their hardest to put you on the trophy you’re after. Please do not forget your cooks as well, they work very hard on the delicious hot meals you receive every day. All prices are per hunter.
